Delete Your Account

How to delete your account in the app
You can delete your AthleteCreed® account yourself from inside the app or on the web. Sign in, then go to Profile → Account → Delete my account. You will be asked to type your email address (and your current password, if your account has one) to confirm. Deletion takes effect immediately and signs you out of every device.
What is deleted
When you delete your account, everything AthleteCreed holds about you is permanently deleted, and then the account itself is deleted:
- Your name, email address, password, sign-in details and any linked Google sign-in
- Passkeys (Face ID / fingerprint sign-in), push notification tokens and subscriptions
- Your profile photo and the profile fields on your account (date of birth, body weight, gender, grade level, lift-station PIN, parent link code, and the coaches' notes field)
- Workout logs and every logged set, personal records, body weight entries, readiness check-ins, goals, badges, training programs, and progression history
- Attendance records, practice evaluations, coach notes about you, and injury and concussion records, including their history (who logged, advanced, unlocked or cleared them)
- Performance test results and submissions, and your form check and performance test videos (the video files are deleted from our servers)
- AI-generated workout summaries and injury-risk assessments about you
- Your team memberships (including your roster position and grade), parent–athlete links in both directions, and your public recruiting profile
- Your notification history; and, for athletes and parents, the conversations you started or that were sent to you and the messages you posted in team conversations
Deletion takes effect immediately and signs you out of every device.
What is kept
- A record that the deletion happened: the account's internal number, its role, its school, who requested the deletion, and when. It does not include your name or email address.
- The school's access log: entries recording who opened or downloaded records about your account, or changed it, and when. They hold account numbers, not names, and cannot be edited.
- Records about other people: what other people wrote about someone else is not deleted, even if it mentions you, for example a message a coach sent to the whole team or a note about another athlete. Where a notification sent to someone else named you, your name is replaced with "[deleted user]".
- Staff accounts: if you are a coach or administrator and you recorded information about athletes (for example injury logs, concussion stage advances, supervised-session unlocks and clearances, attendance, notes, evaluations, messages, recruiting-profile approvals, or heat safety logs), those records belong to the athletes and the school, so they are kept. Your account then stays as an anonymous "Deleted User" with no name, email or sign-in details, and it can no longer be used.
- Backups: copies may remain in our system backups until they expire.
Deletion requested by a school
A school administrator (or district administrator) can delete an athlete's data at the request of the athlete, a parent, or the school, from the athlete's page in AthleteCreed. It deletes exactly what is listed above. If your school needs to keep injury, concussion or attendance records under its own records policy, it should download the athlete's compliance packet before deleting; the deletion page links to it.
Deletion of a whole school
When a school asks for all of its data to be deleted, or leaves AthleteCreed and asks us to, our team deletes every account at the school exactly as described above, then every other record made at the school (teams, programs, messages, announcements, heat safety records and settings), including the records of athletes who have since moved to another school. The school can download a full export of its records first.
Records another school holds are not the leaving school's to delete, so they stay with that school:
- An athlete who transferred in keeps their history at the school they came from (workouts, personal records, attendance, notes, injury and concussion records, team rosters). Their account stays with that school, deactivated, with only their name and role, so those records still say whose they are. Their sign-in details, contact details, profile, photo, goals, badges, notifications and everything recorded at the leaving school are deleted.
- A parent linked to a child at another school keeps their account, which moves to that school, so the family keeps its link. What they had at the leaving school (conversations and links to children there) is deleted.
- An injury that moved with a transfer keeps its whole history at its new school, including supervised-session unlocks recorded at the leaving school.
A record of a transfer into or out of the leaving school is deleted with it.
If you cannot sign in
If you no longer have access to your account (for example, you have forgotten your password and no longer control the email address), ask your school administrator to delete it for you, or email [email protected] from the address associated with your account. We will verify the request and handle it within 30 days.
